Help Save Lives

This little fella has had enough. He like millions others have given up on his pitiful and disgraceful life. At two days old he was taken away from his mother. She pined for him, don't think that because they are cows, they did not miss each other. He was forced into a wooden crate, no bigger than 2 ft wide. He cannot sit down, he cannot turn around. All he can do is lay, extremely uncomfortably. Why? So that he couldn't grow, so that his muscles stayed tender. He lives in a windowless, excrement covered shed with no bedding. He is fed a liquid diet.
He is extremely distressed, he proves this by kicking and violently throwing his head around. But no - one comes, no kind words are uttered, not even his mother can soothe him.

At just a few months old he is led in crippling agony to the slaughter house, where he is supposedly stunned (though not always successfully) and has his throat slit, in many cases still conscious...At least death has liberated him from his suffering.

Then he is chopped up, packaged up and sold to us as Veal!

Lets End This!

Most supermarkets now refrain from selling Veal due to the inhumane process and the protests from animal welfare groups. However, a few places still sell Veal. They include Tesco and Waitrose. Not only do they sell Veal but they also do not buy it from reputable and animal welfare approved suppliers, instead they get it bought over from Holland. Sign the petition below and let's get Veal of their shelves!
