LAST NIGHT 10,000 AUSTRALIANS WERE MURDERED

Picture this, if you will,
Dusk has settled upon the vast and wild Australian outback. A kangaroo emerges into the open, her joey, cautious at first, leaves her pouch. The proud mother then begins to groom her child. The crunch of wheels distracts the beautiful mammal, curiously glancing up, she gets blinded by bright spotlights. The joey sensing danger retreats back into the safety of his mother's pouch. She is frozen as a man points a gun at her. He fires, but she is quick and the shot misses her head, instead it blows a hole in her throat. She tries to run, to save herself and her child, but she is helpless and in pain. She collapses as the men reach her. They tear the petrified joey from her pouch and after throwing him to the floor, they stamp on his head, leaving him writhing in agony. The mother is not yet dead, although loss of blood and shock is seeing to that. The hunter slices her leg open with a knife and slides a hook through the gash. He hangs her upside down in the truck. She is gutted, her head, tail and legs dismembered and thrown next to her dying joey.
The hunters drive off, complimenting and congratulating each other on such an easy catch, until they spot another kangaroo, thus the story begins all over again. Sometimes, up to 10,000 times in one night.

But why should we care? After all, it's happening over 9533 miles from the UK, and over 8853 miles from the US.
The reason you should care is because one of the reasons these kangaroos are been cold heartedly slaughtered is to be worn by unaware, everyday people like you and I. The companies include Adidas, Nike, Umbro and Kappa among the many. Each of those companies use Kangaroo skin in one or more of their brands of shoes. 
 

Please help us stop this, and help us save lives!
